**Please remember that every Monday and Wednesday, students should wear their gym shoes to school. Boys should wear an undershirt under their polo and girls should wear navy shorts under their jumpers!
**Our class meets for Library every other week. When students check out books, they are due back 2 weeks from the date they check them out.
Weekly Homework
Monday- Reading comprehension assignment
Tuesday- Book in a bag with grammar activity
Wednesday- Math worksheet and High Frequency words are sent home to review
***Reading for at least 15 minutes every night and practicing addition math facts is also considered standard homework.
Spelling: Students receive words on Monday, take a pre-test on Thursday, and take their spelling test on Friday.
All homework is due on Friday unless told otherwise!
- Don't forget to turn in the Book-It calendar for each month!!
- Remember to practice your math facts! Timed tests have started each Wednesday!
Springing into April!
vSpring Break starts Friday, March 23rd after school. We return to school Monday, April 2nd.

v There will be 11:30 dismissal on Thursday, April 5th and No School on Friday, April 6th and Monday, April 9th in celebration of Easter.

v 4th Quarter Interims go home Friday, April 27th
v Start asking around!!! We will be asking everyone to buy/rent/borrow a copy of Horrible Harry Goes to the Moon by Suzy Kline for a unit that we will be starting April 16th. Make sure you put your student’s name in their book!!!
v Please remember to continue practicing past and present high frequency words. If we have covered them the students should be able to read them, spell them, and use them correctly in a sentence.
v Keep practicing addition math facts. Remember our goal is 100 facts in 5 minutes or less by the end of the year.
