Ambassadors' Club- The Student Ambassadors are the public student representatives for Immaculate Conception Grade School, working to boost morale and work with PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention & Supports) committee while running a school store. Their jobs include assistance with the distribution of "Starbucks" (reward dollars), and managing our school store. In addition, Ambassadors recommend items for the store and create advertising tools for its promotion.
Chess Club- This club gives students the opportunity to develop their skills through practice and sharing of knowledge. Students in grades 2 through 5 are encouraged to come for fun. Students in grades 6 through 8th offer their insights as chess counselors. Each year, we hope is to bring in guests who will help expand and strengthen student skills. Choir- We have 2 school choirs. Our primary choir is for students in grades 2-5 and our junior high choir is for students in grades 6-8. Students participate in leading our weekly Masses in song. In addition they participate in prayer services and other school events. Students practice on Friday mornings before school.
A Sunday Children’s Choir has also been established for children in grades 2-8 for our parish's monthly family Masses. Moderator: Ms. Lisa Grisolia
Drama Club- This club was developed for those in grades 3 through 5. The Drama Club meets on Tuesdays in the school library. Students work on drama skills and create a final presentation. Additional Monday practices are held as the performance date approaches. During the school year, two sessions of Drama Club are offered. The Fall session runs from September through November. Our Spring session will begin in February and end in April. Moderators: Mrs. Erin Petry & Mrs. Liz Witt
High School Math Prep- The High School Math Prep class is designed to help 8tth graders prepare for their high school entrance exams. Students will spend the time reviewing Pre-Algebra and Geometry concepts that are part of the course curriculum. Moderator: Ms. Christina Novak
Math Minds- This after school session will appeal to students who enjoy math and are interested in working with mathematical challenges. Those students who want to participate in the ICHS, Montini, and Fenwick Math Contests can come and sharpen their skills as well. The students will review concepts and further skills with higher level problem solving. Moderator: Ms. Christina Novak
Tech Club- Tech Club is open to students in grades 5 through 8. All participants will become trained to be "Certified Tech Assistants." Moderators: Mrs. Alice Truty & Ms. Katy Rudis
Yearbook- Yearbook is open to all students in 6-8th grades. Meetings are held on Mondays after school beginning in November. Yearbook is a great opportunity for those who like to be creative and/or organized. There are a variety of jobs available including photography, page layout, computer graphics, and writing.
Band- Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Band instruction is offered for students in grades 4 through 8. Instruction takes place during school hours and before and after school, depending on the level. Please refer to Band Schedule in the school office. Moderator: Mr. Andrew Syzmanski
Student Council- Students have an opportunity to run as class representatives in grades 6 through 8. In 8th grade students can run for student council officer positions as well as representative positions. The student council initiates many of our school-wide service projects. In addition, the student council sponsors our talent show as well as our pep rallies. Moderators: Ms. Jill VanderHye & Mrs. Sharon Meyer/ Hours: Thurs. 7:15am
Science Club- Moderator: Mrs. Laura Bedore
Bricks 4 Kidz- These classes build on the universal popularity of LEGO Bricks to deliver high quality, educational play. Every class is an enriching experience, building new projects each week based on a 6 week theme. Moderator: Bricks 4 Kidz
